DAY1-Arrive at Bhubanswar airport/railway station.

Arrive at Bhubanswar airport/railway station. Transfer to the hotel. Proceed for half a day tour of the city that includes the Jain Monk Caves of 02nd Century B.C. at the twin hills of Khandagiri - Udaygiri, Tribal Museum etc. Overnight at Bhubaneswar.


After breakfast drive to baliguda in the district of phulbani through the beautiful countryside road having small mountains of sal forest on it’s alongside. This is one of the entry points to the tribal highland of odisha. Visit en-route weaver’s sight at itamati and some of the typical odishan tribal areas. Arrive at the hotel in the evening. Overnight at baliguda. (distance -300 kms, driving time 7 hrs + visit)


After breakfast you visit to the Barakhamba area for trekking to some of the remote areas of tatoo faced kutia kondh tribes. Trekking according to tourist’s convenience and comfort. Overnight at Baliguda.

DAY4-Baliguda–kothagargh–Rayagada (weekly market on tuesday)

After breakfast proceed to belghar to visit a few kutia kondh tribal areas and the weekly market at Kothgarh. Lunch on the roadside models and then drive to Rayagada. Arrive in the evening. Overnight at hotel. (distance -200 kms, driving time -4/5 hrs + visit)

DAY5-Rayagada–chatikiona–Jeypore (weekly market on wednesday)

Morning visit of Dongariya Kondh tribal market at Chatikona and then drive to jeypore visiting a few desia kondh and mali tribes. Overnight at jeypore. (distance -205 kms, drive time, 5 hrs + visit)

DAY6-Jeypore-onukudeli-lamptaput-jeypore (market is on thursday)

Morning drive to onokudelli to visit the most colourful local market of the bonda tribes. Visit the colourful gadabas & didayee tribes. Overnight at jeypore. (distance 160 kms drive time 3/4 hrs + visit)

DAY7-Jeypore-Kunduli-Nandapur-Jeypore (weekly market on friday)

Morning proceed to witness the biggest tribal weekly market of sana paroja and mali tribes in Kunduli 65 kms away via sunabeda. It is a very colorful market. Later drive down to Jeypore visiting enroute pottery making place. Overnight at Jeypore.

DAY8-Jeypore–Gupteswar–Jeypore (weekly market on saturday)

Proceed to Gupteswar 70 kms away to visit the tribal market of Dhuruba tribes and cave temple of lord shiva in the hidden mountain famous amongst the tribes. Back to hotel in the evening. Overnight at hotel


Drive to Rayagada visiting en-route Jagannath temple & tribal museum at koraput. Here non hindus are allowed inside the temples and all temple rites are similar to lord Jagnnath temple of puri. Lunch on the way. Overnight at Rayagada. (distance 140 kms drive time 4 hrs + visit)


Proceed to Gopalpur visiting en-route Chandragiri tibettan settlement & Taptapani hot Sulpher spring water. Overnight at Gopalpur. (distance 250 kms drive time 6/7 hrs + visit)

DAY11-Gopalpur-Chilika Lake–Puri

Morning boat ride into Chilka Lake, the largest brackish water lake in asia. In winter Chilika aflutter with thousands of migratory birds as far as from siberia. Visit Nalabana bird sanctuary, honeymoon island. Later visit a few fishing village at Chilka lake, see the fishermen at work looking to fish prawns, mackerel and crabs. Reach Puri via Birnarsingpur – a typical Orissan village. Evening relax on the beach. Overnight at Puri. (distance 200 kms & drive time 03 hrs)


After breakfast visit to lord Jagannath temple, Sankaracharya's monastry located on the downtown of puri. Then drive to Konark (about 35 kms) to visit black pagoda - the temple chariot of sun god, built by king Langula Narasimha Deva in the 13th century a.d. in the golden art & artitectural era of odisha. Overnight at puri. (distance - 110 kms drive time – 2 hrs + visit)


Proceed to Bhubaneswar visiting en-route Raghurajpur – the artisan villages & also some other villages with houses decorated with chita's for goddess Lakshmi, the colourful appliqué village of Pipili famous for the colorful odishan handicrafts and dhauli – the peace pagoda famous for the ashokan rock edicts dating back to 02nd century b.c. afternoon visit of some of the ancient temples of bhubaneswar of 7th to 12th century a.d. the eminent of them are lord Lingaraja temple, Parasurameswara temple, Mukteswara temple, Bramheswara temple, Raja-Rani temple & Bhakareswar temple etc. And then transfer to Bhubaneswar airport.
